Jeremy Pleasant
Raised in Los Angeles, CA, Jeremy had an encounter with Christ in his mid-teens that brought a reality to the expanse of God’s love and care, bringing healing in ways he couldn’t imagine. In 2005, he moved to Louisiana to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Music from Southern University. After many twists and turns in life with God Jeremy followed a call to pastor a church. Jeremy seeks to walk with others as they walk with God to experience true freedom. He believes the church should engage outwardly. Managing resources from numerous relief agencies, caring for his community and his congregation, and often being caught in the crossfire of limited resources and differing opinions, Jeremy has learned a lot about the Five Phases of Disaster Relief. Longtime friends, Dr.E coached Jeremy through his first disaster and now relies Jeremy’s wisdom during similar relief efforts.
